Bucatini Trattoria – Pizzeria

"This is a nice Italian Restaurant/Pizzeria. The servings are generous and for us older people leftovers always make a second meal. I like their Pere Salad, it used to have fennel on it which really gave it a pop. My husband is vegan the special starter was long neck artachokes, and the Capellini Alla Checca suits him well. My favorite dish is the Bucatini Amatriciana, which is their signature dish, and the pancetta gives it full flavor. The night we were there I had one of the daily specials: short rib ragau. The last time we were there, they had the 'garage doors' open and it was like eating outside. This is a great neighborhood place"

"The veal marsala was delicious, the cutlets were super tender and sauce was spot-on. And I rarely take restaurant up on their offer of dessert, but I could not pass on the beautiful tiramisu, which was just as tasty as it looked. The restaurant was within walking distance from my hotel, and let's just say I'm glad I took that walk!"

"Stopped in at Bucatini last night while in Palm Desert. Dina was our server and was professional, attentive, and friendly. We ordered the Bolognese Pasta entree and a vegetarian pizza. The food was quite good, as was the service. The tail end of the Super Bowl game was on as the two teams went into overtime. Great game, good food and service. The ambiance was positive and friendly. Highly recommended"
