Brandini Toffee

"My first thought was "wow, this toffee is expensive." My second thought was "wow, this toffee is good." Brandini is an adorable little shop a bit off the beaten path, but seemingly well-known by locals. The menu is not huge: a few eat-in options (ice creams), and then maybe half a dozen to-go snack options. And the toffee is expensive. The boxes range from like $25 to $110 or so. But it's the real deal. You can see the commercial operation in the kitchen through large windows in the store. It's not something I necessarily need all the time, but I love to see a dedication to quality, tradition, and style. Brandini brings it all."

"This place is a GEM! The toffee is OUT OF CONTROL GOOD! But it doesn't stop there - icecreams, coffies, brownies, all kinds of yummy stuff! It's no wonder Brandini Toffee is a Coachella Valley staple. I have gifted it, bought it for myself, and delivered gift baskets. As a matter of fact, this morning when I was in, the person in front of me was saying how every time she leaves town she stocks up to bring to all of her hometown friends. "Wow! This is a must add spot if you haven’t been and are from out of town. Ice Cream happy hour during the week from 11-2. We had the pleasure of meeting Ruthie, who gave us the background of how the company started, gave us some free samples and we were hooked. Toffee is out of this world. We will be back before we head back from vacation to snag some more goodies. We did the ice cream bar and shake and both were amazing. Not too heavy, hit the spot! Didn’t have any of the brownies but hoping they have some before Saturday morning so we can try them."
