"Tommy Bahama in Palm Desert delivered on both food and service. Our group of eight was seated a few minutes before our reservation (a weekday), and it just kept getting better. Drink orders were taken and the drinks delivered, followed by food orders. It was great that all eight meals came out at once, so no ackward wait for a few dishes to come out. The food was very good and fit the island theme close enough. The Cioppino was fantastatic, with really nice muscles, clams, fish, and a spicy tomato broth. Two more wedges of toasted bread would have been nice, but with or without extra bread, this dish was 5 stars."

"Great food! Our party had mango salad, ribs, chicken, and halibut. We also tried the Pina Colada cake and key lime pie. The key lime pie was the best key lime pie I have had in a while."

"What a great atmosphere to enjoy good food and drinks. We sat on the outdoor deck, spacious with great views, plus outdoor heaters for the chilly nights. We started with the coconut shrimp, always good but we substituted sweet chili sauce for the dip. We split a full rack of ribs - the meat fell off the bone, with a delicious bbq sauce. It is usually very busy so get your name in and they'll text you when your table is ready."
