The Inn at Deep Canyon

"I booked a studio suite for the weekend while attending my little sister’s winterguard competition, with my wife. The photos made the room look a bit small, but we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it actually was when we arrived and how affordable it was. The AC was already on, so the room felt fresh and cool right away. The suite was well-equipped with a good-sized bathroom, as well as a fridge, sink, pots, pans, and plates. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The service was excellent. I received a call the day before my reservation to confirm my arrival, which I appreciated. Since the office closes around 8 PM, I let them know I’d be arriving late, and they provided clear and easy instructions on how to retrieve my keys. As a nice bonus, they even provide a complimentary detergent if you need to do laundry. The amenities were great as well. The pool was clean, there was a small putting area for golf, and the jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only minor challenge was parking. There are some spots available around the inn, but there’s also plenty of street parking nearby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again the next time we visit Palm Desert."

"My mom, sister and myself have been coming to the Inn at Deep Canyon for a mother/daughter getaway for the past three years now. This year we were disappointed that the pool and surrounding had been completely taken over by a large family party, so much so that we weren't able to enjoy that space. They were disruptive and loud, well past midnight. Additionally, the AC unit in our room seemed to be having some trouble cooling the room. Staff was quick to make the situation right, AMAZING customer service! We were quickly moved to another room, with a fantastic AC unit, and were refunded the cost of one night given the situation with the disruptive family. Thank you for the prompt and fabulous service. We'll be back again next year!"

"Large, comfortable room and well-maintained grounds. This is an old-school motel with exterior access, so parking is possible right outside your door. The small parking lot is a bit tight, but there is street parking available and it appears to be safe. They don't serve breakfast, but there is a good diner within easy walking distance. I never made it into the pool but it was nice just for lounging. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in the area."
