Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Desert

"As a Bonvoy Platinum and formerly Ambassador member, I am loyal to the Marriott brand hotels and have stayed at many excellent properties. This particular property, the Residence Inn Palm Desert is where I have stayed the most. I estimate I have stayed there 30 or 40 times, especially since selling our second home in the area, this wonderful all-suite hotel has been my go-to and home away from home for many years. First and foremost, the customer service I receive each and every stay in phenomenal. On my most recent stay, I had the pleasure of being greeted and checked in by Aurora. I have gotten to know her over my past few stays and she always goes above and beyond, providing exceptional service, and she is a great representation of the excellence that I have come to know with the Marriott brand. She is very personable and always makes me feel very welcome. Aurora is indeed a valuable asset to the business and brand. I also had the pleasure of interacting with another great staff member, Maribel. I had requested a late check-out and had a nice conversation with her on my way to my room where she assured me my late check-out was no problem and if I needed anything just let her know. I have had many other great interactions with other staff members over the years. The location of this property is very ideal as it's close to the freeway and centrally located, not far from many of the attractions in the greater Palm Springs area. The views from all the buildings are great, but the views of adjacent Desert Willow golf course and the surrounding mountains from buildings 1, 2 and 3 are exceptional. The grounds are very well maintained as are the wonderful amenities including a very nice gym and a refreshing pool that I was actually able to enjoy several times on my last stay. I travel with my service dog, which this property is perfect for, as they are very dog friendly and there are many wonderful areas to walk them, including several grass areas with dog bags and trash. The surrounding areas are also very beautiful and safe to enjoy a nice walk. The suites are wonderful, some as large as 2 bedroom/2 bath, which I have booked when traveling with family or friends, allowing us a very comfortable experience, especially with two full bathrooms for everyone to get ready. All the rooms have great patios or balconies, allowing an outdoor living area where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Though the suites are not the most up-to-date, they are always very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Free hot breakfast is also very nice as my guests can just walk down and enjoy a delicious hot breakfast before we head out each day. I am vegan and bring my own breakfast which is easy to keep and prepare as each suite has a full kitchen, and I go to the breakfast area to get my coffee which I happy that they always offer oatmilk. Some vegan breakfast items in addition to the oatmeal already offered, would be the only thing I could ask or suggest at this outstanding property. I am writing this very detailed and positive review so others can also enjoy this great accommodation experience, especially so as this is one of very few places where I immediately feel at home upon arrival."

"OMG, Residence Inn By Marriott Palm Desert are so incredible. The staffs are a super kind and Friendly, the room is so huge & clean with many amenities, and the huge fridge helps to keep many drinks. The breakfast has many options such as scramble eggs, sausages, egg/ham muffins, toasts, cereals, and waffles. I regret to stay only 1 day because I did not expect the hotel is so comfortable, and I will definitely stay at Residence Inn By Marriott Palm Desert more than 2 days."
