"We stayed 2 midweek nights here and found it affordable, quirky, comfortable and relaxing. The initial impression was slightly strange that it was like an automated system, so if you were there a tad early, the gate code didn't work to get access. Luckily we had Wi-Fi in our hire car and so could get online easily enough to communicate via email to try and get access, but I do miss the old days of a person on a reception to welcome you and sort everything out for you. The room was clean and nicely decorated in the classic Palm Springs retro style that we love when visiting this area. It had everything we needed, and was comfy - I could've happily stayed another couple of nights! The location is nice and peaceful, but still walkable to downtown shops and eateries etc, with enough parking when we visited. The grounds are nicely kept, with a lovely pool and cooking facilities or longer stays. Unfortunately we ended up passing thro when it was unseasonably wet and we only got to take a short dip in the pool over the couple of days we stayed, but it was clean and had enough loungers accessible (the sun came back just as we were ready to check out!). One major downside was the hot tub not being in action, as this is one of our fave facilities when roadtripping the US, but from some other reviews I noticed later, this appears to have been the case for a while. It would be good if this was advertised so people have all the info when deciding where to stay in a town that has lots of lovely options. It may well be fixed now, so I can only speak for my experience in September '25. Overall, we were happy though with the motel, and would come back again if the hot-tub was up and running!"

"This hotel kinda exceeded our expeditions. We just booked it for a weekend getaway because it looked nice but wasn’t as expensive as the boutique hotels around. The vibe was super cute and 70s, yet modern and clean. The pool and view was super calming and the rooms were quiet and comfy! Would recommend to anyone who wants a cute hotel in a normal price range. The staff via email and text were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we even got a bottle of prosecco for our anniversary on the house."

"Love this hotel - some rooms more original and others nicely updated. As with many Palm Springs hotels, check in desk is at another property so they prefer you text them. The days of greetings, welcome drink and happy hour are gone. I rated lower on service since there was no one in person. I was able to visit room 2 - large 1 bedroom, 2 bath and huge livingroom with back patio. Kitchen was updated, but oddly. Room 2 was nice size studio type of room, mostly original. Large closet, dressing area but smelled musty.(maybe from carpet?). Room 15 was completely updated, smaller than 1 and 2 but they kept original bathroom (super cute) Another person said Room 6 was great. (Photos I included are from 2 and 15)"
