"Good starting place for hiking the Palm Springs area. Beautiful views along a relatively easy 2 hour hike, that has a reasonable elevation to get you working! We kept to the easier part of the loop (there is one side that gets steep). Fortunately not busy the day we hiked, although I hear the trails can get crowded. Mostly wide enough path, but a few narrow spots. Trails are easy to follow and not hard if you’re used to hiking. Parking at base is on the street. We didn’t have a problem, but during busier times I suspect it would be. (Don’t leave valuables in the car - we saw another car that had been broken into)."
