Palm Desert Cross Hiking Trail

"This is a great place to hike! Multiple trails and amazing views of the surrounding desert. Be prepared. It is rocky and parts are pretty steep depending on the path you take. The main trail narrows as you get closer to the cross with two-way traffic so you need to step aside at times to let others pass. It was already pretty busy at 8am. You are out in the open, with full sun. Hat and sunglasses for sure! Dogs are allowed."

"Great hike. The beginning has a very very steep start but once you’re past that it’s smooth hiking from there very exposed with NO shade at all so plan ahead and use good hiking judgement. Great views along the trail and at the top."
